FizzPal Privacy Policy

FizzPal (“the app”) is made by Jake Snow. This policy explains what data the
app handles.
What we collect
- Sign in with Apple identifier. Used to identify your account.
- Name and email (only returned by Apple on your first sign-in). Used to
show your name on the leaderboard.
- Soda log entries you create — soda type, size, timestamp, optional
location, rating, and notes.
- Location is only read when you tap “Pick a Place” while logging a soda,
and only to find nearby places. It is never collected in the background.
Where it lives
Your soda log syncs to your private iCloud database via Apple’s CloudKit.
A minimal mirror (your display name, soda totals, and an invite code) is
stored in a shared CloudKit database so friends you’ve added by code can see
your totals on the leaderboard.
What we don’t do
- No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- No selling or sharing of your data.
Deleting your account
Open the Leaderboard tab, tap the profile icon, then tap Delete Account.
This permanently removes your soda log, leaderboard history, and friend
connections from FizzPal’s servers.
